Elizabeth McCall “Betsy” Carufel, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at her residence under the care of Kindred Hospice. She was born in Savannah, daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Pettus McCall. Mrs. Carufel was a graduate of Savannah High School and Albany Junior College with a degree in nursing. For many years she was a registered nurse with Candler Hospital and Memorial University Medical Center. Mrs. Carufel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Since his death, Willene deeply missed Ottis, but their joyous reunion in heaven brings great comfort to her family. She loved her family and was happiest spending time and hosting meals for them. Mildred Faye Fisher Hinkle, 82, passed away Saturday, July 23,2022 at Memorial Health.

Laura C. Heisey (March 1950—September 2022) Laura Cole Heisey of Tybee Island, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2022 with her husband by her side. Thomas Andrew Myers, 84, died October 8, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born in Thomasville, NC on October 28, 1937, to Mabel Sullivan Myers and Willis Lamberth Myers. Tommy graduated from High Point University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, with a degree in Chemistry.
Carolyn, the anchor of her close-knit family, was a dedicated and loving mother, wife, grandmother, and best friend to many. She always believed in putting her kids, grandchildren and her husband's needs before her own. She loved spending time with her husband and family, whether it be at the Jersey Shore, Lake Michigan or ... She was born February 8, 1947 in Humboldt, TN to the late James Earl Morris and Thelma Deloris Sasser. Janice was a 1965 graduate of Savannah High School. She retired as the Clerk of the Chatham County Superior Court after more than twenty years of service. Janice was a member of S.A.D.A., the Jaycettes, the Ladies Ancient order of Hibernians, and the Shag Club.
